Resume Worded is an online resume and LinkedIn profile reviewer. It describes its tools as "built by hiring managers, powered by AI." Where most ATS checkers focus on matching keywords to one job description, Resume Worded's strength is coaching: it grades how your resume is written and tells you what to improve, line by line.

How Resume Worded works
Resume Worded has three main tools:
- Score My Resume. Upload an English resume (PDF or DOCX) and get a score out of 100 with a list of improvements. Resume Worded says the free review runs 20+ recruiter checks and includes an ATS analysis.

What Resume Worded does well
Line by line feedback is genuinely useful. Instead of one match percentage, Pro walks through your bullets and flags weak action verbs, missing numbers and wordy lines. That teaches you to write better bullets, which helps with the human reader as well as the software.
It coaches, not just scores. If you are early in your career, or you have never had anyone review your resume, this style of feedback is more educational than a keyword list.
The LinkedIn review is thorough. It covers the parts of your profile recruiters search and read first, which is useful if you want to be found as well as to apply.
There is now an AI writer. Pro includes AI writer features that draft bullets for you. As with any AI tool, check every line is true before you use it.
Where Resume Worded falls short
Job matching is not the main event. Targeted Resume works, but the product is built around resume quality coaching. If your main question is "which words from this posting am I missing," a dedicated job match checker gets you there faster.
The useful parts are in Pro. The free review shows a score and some improvements; the full reports and the line by line engine are paid.
Feedback can be generic. A "weak verb" flag does not always account for the standard wording of fields like law, research or government, so use judgment.
The paid plans are subscriptions. The one year plan has the lowest monthly rate but is a single payment of $229. The monthly plan, at $49, is the one most people in a short search would pick.

The honest summary: Resume Worded is the stronger writing coach. ATSAlign is built for checking a resume against a posting and closing the keyword gaps, without a subscription.
Who should pay for Resume Worded?
Resume Worded Pro is worth paying for if:
- You want to learn to write a better resume, not just match one posting. The line by line feedback is its best feature.
- You are early in your career and have no one to review your resume for you.
- You also want LinkedIn feedback from the same tool.
- You will use it for a year. The $229 one year plan works out far cheaper per month than paying $49 monthly.
You probably do not need to pay for it if:
- Your resume already reads well and your question is which keywords a posting wants. A job match checker answers that, often for free.
- Your search will last a few weeks. A subscription you forget to cancel costs more than a fixed period.
If you are job hunting in India
Everything above applies in India too, with a few extra points.
Check the price from India. When we checked from outside India, Resume Worded listed Pro in US dollars: $49 a month, $99 every 3 months or $229 a year. For freshers and early career professionals, that is a meaningful cost.
There is little India specific guidance. Resume Worded's tools are general and written for English resumes; we did not find advice on its site for Naukri profiles or India specific job description patterns.

Pay for it if you want to become a better resume writer.
