Terms of Service

1. Nature of the service

ATSAlign is a software service that scores a resume against a job description, shows the keywords and skills that are missing, and uses AI to help you tailor the resume. It includes Resume Studio (a structured copy of your resume with versions and templates), a job tracker and application workspace, AI-drafted cover letters, and an optional Chrome extension that shows an estimated match score on supported job sites.

ATSAlign is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any job board, applicant tracking system, employer or other resume tool named on this site, including LinkedIn, Indeed, Naukri, Glassdoor, USAJOBS, Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS, Taleo, Ashby, Jobscan, Teal and Resume Worded. All product names, company names, logos and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. We use them only to identify those products and employers, to describe where ATSAlign works, and to review or compare them with ATSAlign.

Comparisons on this site are our good-faith summary of each company's own public information on the date we last checked it, which we show next to the comparison. Prices and features change, so check the company's own website before you decide. If you represent a company and believe a comparison is inaccurate or out of date, email support@atsalign.com. We will review it and correct anything that is inaccurate.

AI-generated content: ATSAlign uses AI to analyze your resume and to suggest or draft text, including bullet points, summaries and cover letters. AI output can contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content for accuracy and truthfulness before using or submitting it, and for ensuring your resume reflects your genuine qualifications and experience. ATSAlign does not warrant the accuracy of AI-generated content and is not liable for any content you choose to submit to employers or other third parties.

2. Your account

• You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep it current.
• One account per person. Your account is personal and may not be shared, sold or transferred.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for everything done through your account. If you sign in with Google, Google's terms also apply to that sign-in.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are engaged in fraud, abuse, or a breach of these Terms (Section 9).

3. Free use, ATSAlign Pro, and payments

• Free use. ATS analysis is free, with a daily limit that is shown in the app and is lower for visitors without an account. The Classic resume template is free. While the offer runs, a new account may be offered one free resume optimization to claim inside the app; nothing is charged and no card is needed.
• ATSAlign Pro is prepaid access bought with a single one-time payment for a fixed period of 30, 90 or 180 days (7, 30 or 90 days in India and Morocco). Pro does not automatically renew and there is no recurring charge. At the end of the purchased period, Pro access expires unless you purchase another Pro period. Buying another period while Pro is active adds it after your current access ends.
• What Pro includes, for the whole of the purchased period: resume optimizations and ATS analyses with no per-use charge; AI rewrites (tailoring a bullet to a job, Improve with AI, summary rewriting); AI-drafted cover letters; the Pro resume templates; and job checks in the Chrome extension with the full match report. Optimizations, analyses, rewrites and extension checks are unlimited for your own job search, within the fair-use limits in Section 4.
• Earlier purchases. Optimization packs and credits are no longer sold. Optimizations or credits you bought under them stay in your account and remain usable until used. A Weekly Pass bought before it was withdrawn expires on its own date and does not renew.
• Prices. Prices are shown in the currency for your location (Indian rupees, US dollars, euros, pounds sterling or Moroccan dirhams). The price shown is the total you pay; nothing is added at checkout.
• All payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card details.
• EU, EEA and UK consumers. Because Pro is delivered the moment you pay, checkout asks you to request immediate access and to acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal once it has been provided. The Refund Policy explains the right and how to exercise it.
• Purchases are non-transferable and non-refundable, as set out in our Refund Policy. A duplicate or erroneous charge, and a purchase we took payment for but never delivered, are always returned in full; verified technical failures are always remedied. Your mandatory statutory rights are unaffected.
• Upon voluntary account deletion, any remaining optimizations, credits or Pro access are forfeited, and that forfeiture is not refundable.

5. Refunds and cancellations

Purchases are non-refundable, on the terms set out in our Refund Policy. Everything we sell is delivered digitally and immediately, and free ATS analysis lets you evaluate the product before you pay, so we do not refund change of mind, unused items, or dissatisfaction with results (outcomes are not guaranteed). An ATSAlign Pro purchase is likewise non-refundable.

Three things are always put right, because they are corrections rather than refunds of a completed sale: a duplicate or erroneous charge is returned in full, a purchase you paid for but never received is delivered or returned in full, and a verified technical failure on our side restores the optimization automatically. Nothing in these Terms or in the Refund Policy removes a mandatory statutory right that the law where you live gives you. If something goes wrong, please contact us first; we resolve genuine issues faster than a bank dispute can.

This no-refund policy took effect on 19 September 2026 and applies to purchases made on or after that date. Earlier purchases remain governed by the Refund Policy published at the time of purchase.

6. Your content and your workspace

• You own your content. Your resumes, job descriptions, workspace entries, notes and cover letters remain yours. You give us permission to store, process and display them, and to send the parts a feature needs to our AI provider, solely to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. We claim no other rights in them and never use them to train AI models.
• AI output is yours to use once you have reviewed it (Section 1). You are responsible for what you submit to employers.
• Information about other people. If you record a recruiter's or hiring manager's details against an application, you confirm you have a legitimate need to keep them for that application, you use them only for your own job search, and you keep them accurate. We never contact those people and treat their details as set out in the Privacy Policy.
• Keeping and deleting your workspace. We keep your workspace while you use ATSAlign. After 24 months without any sign-in, extension use, analysis or optimization we delete it, after emailing you 30 days before. Deleting your account erases it immediately. You can download everything your account holds, at any time, from your account page.
• Our content. The ATSAlign software, scoring method, templates, design and text are ours or our licensors'. You may not copy, resell or build a competing service from them.

7. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

• Upload illegal, offensive, or infringing content, or content about other people you have no right to hold.
• Reverse engineer the scoring method or the software.
• Use scripts, bots or automation to access the service, scrape it, or run analyses or optimizations in bulk.
• Share an account, operate accounts for other people, or resell access, including Pro.
• Interfere with the security or operation of the service, or attempt to bypass limits.

Browser extension: the extension reads only the visible job description on supported job sites, at your initiation, for your personal use. It does not automate any action, collect other users' data, or bulk-collect listings. When you use the extension on a third-party job site, you are responsible for complying with that site's own terms of service. Match scores shown by the extension are estimates and are not the employer's actual ATS score.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The service is provided as described, and we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We fix verified failures as set out in the Refund Policy.
• ATSAlign accepts no liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (for example, loss of a job opportunity).
• Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the 6 months before the claim.

Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you, including for fraud, or the mandatory rights of consumers.

9. Suspension, termination, and changes to these Terms

• You may stop using ATSAlign at any time and delete your account from your account page.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, use the service abusively or fraudulently, or raise a bad-faith payment dispute. Termination for breach does not entitle you to a refund. Where it is practical we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
• We may update these Terms. When a change matters, we will show a notice in the app or email you before it takes effect; the date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Continuing to use ATSAlign after the change takes effect means you accept it. A change never reduces what a Pro period you have already bought includes.
• If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

• Dispute resolution: please raise any dispute with our Grievance Officer first (Section 11). We will try to resolve it within 30 days.
• Jurisdiction: subject to the next point, the courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
• Consumers outside India: if you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA, the UK or another country whose law gives you protection that cannot be waived, nothing in these Terms takes that protection away, and you may bring a claim in the courts of your own country where that law allows.
